The Beginning

Many years ago I realized it was not going to be easy. I was a working mom to two toddlers in a career which put me on the road often, home after bedtimes, and spending nights tied to a computer instead with my husband.  I felt out of control, owned, & not in ownership of my life. It took a major life event & loss for me to realize time is a thief and this vessel in which I live actually belongs to me; it is mine alone to captain. Come with me on this voyage of reflection and aspiration as we, together, begin to understand and accept ownership our one vessel.               ~eli
